Handmade in Chicago

Pottery for the tables you gather around

Mugs, plates, and vases thrown and glazed by hand in my small Chicago studio, made to be used every single day.

Meet the artist

Hi, I'm Gabby

Fern Pottery started with one class, a bag of clay, and a lot of lopsided bowls. Now it's a one-woman studio where every piece is made start to finish by my own two hands. I make pottery for real life: the mug you reach for first, the plate that holds Sunday dinner, the vase that lives on your windowsill. Nothing mass-produced, and no two pieces exactly alike.
